Copywriter
Most people think that writers are paid to write.
Actually, writers are paid to observe, listen, research, apply knowledge, reflect (often dwell) - and then write.
The reason I find writing for a living so fulfilling is that, no matter what I write about, I always put a piece of myself into it, whether emotional or intellectual. And writing for different clients and mediums means that I also learn something new with each piece, which I see as a privilege.
This website portfolio has some examples of my strictly business work (albeit for some fun clients) as well as some personal pieces - as I like to put myself through the torture of writing in my own time as well.

I’m an Irish creative copywriter, content strategist and marketing all-rounder based in Melbourne, Australia.
I’ve always been fuelled by my passions. My love of wildlife brought me to the Galapagos where I volunteered at the Charles Darwin Foundation, telling stories about the mystical archipelago. My love of music and the arts brought me to London where I worked for Boiler Room and UB40 (of ‘Red, Red Wine’ fame). And my love of the arts and the outdoors brought me Down Under.
